  2. ⁠ ⁠BIRTHPLACE (and name other places you have lived) Born in Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada. 26 Different addresses before settling in Galway- working in USA – Oklahoma, Texas, and North Carolina, Limerick Ireland, Penrith Australia and New Zealand
  3.  ⁠OCCUPATION – Chartered Physiotherapist for 31 years this May!!! OMG!!!
  4. PREVIOUS SPORTS – most notable basketball. Playing on the Saskatchewan Women’s basketball team in the Canadian Games in 1995 and University of Saskatchwan women’s Huskie basketball team in 1996
  5. ⁠SWIM / BIKE / RUN – which do you prefer and why?  BIKE ALL DAY!!!  before triathlon I only cycled, and did some amazing trips – most notable – from Belgium to Prague, North coast landing beaches of France, and top to bottom of Israel, and the Ardennes region of Belgium….a few one day cobbled classics as a sportif’s in Belgium!!  Cycled around Tasmania, the South coast of New Zealand and criss-crossed Queensland! Amazing way to see the world!
  6. ⁠FAVOURITE EVENT (CAN BE A SWIM/BIKE/RUN EVENT OR A TRIATHLON EVENT) Copenhagen Ironman, 2024 where I set my PB of 10.29.27!!!   Followed closely by the toughest IM I have ever done, Lanzarote 2025.

  8. ⁠GUILTY PLEASURE – Has to be COFFEE!!!  Addicted!!! And, of course, a good ol’ 99 ice cream, NO FLAKE!
  9. FAVOURITE PLACE TO TRAIN? Lanzarote of course!!!  a close second in the summer is Connemara or the Burren which is on our door step!  And occasionally the sun shines!!
  10. YOUR GTC HERO – AND WHY?   Miriam Wall! She got me into this crazy world of triathlon and I could not be more grateful!!!  Amazing friend, a solid sounding board and always someone whose advice I value… Also, an easy carry in a cart we tried to nick in Helsinki Finland!!  Another cool triathlon adventure!! Ironman Copenhagen 2024 Followed closely by Ironman Lanzarote 2025- toughest event I ever did!
