  1. Triathlon Ireland Card ID for registration
  2. Print-out of registration documentation / acceptance slip / e-mail
  3. Race number and stickers
  4. Print-out of race briefing document
  5. Print-out of map / directions to registration / race

Bike

  1. Helmet
  2. Cycle shoes
  3. Elastic bands for attaching cycle shoes to bike for T1 (if desired)
  4. Sunglasses
  5. Cycle Gloves
  6. Track Pump/Bike pump
  7. Spare Tubes
  8. Tyre Levers
  9. Bike multi-tool / set of allen keys
  10. Torque wrench
  11. Chain oil
  12. C02 cartridges / valve
  13. Puncture repair spray canister (for tubular tyre punctures)
  14. Water Bottles / energy drink
  15. Aero water bottle / elastics
  16. Nutrition ( gels +/- bar- depending on distance)Tape to tape gels to crossbar of bike
  17. Handlebar tape

Swim

  1. Goggles (and a spare)
  2. Ear plugs (and spares)
  3. Flip-flops or throw-away hotel slippers
  4. Tri Suit
  5. Wet Suit
  6. Wet Suit repair glue
  7. Swim Hat
  8. Anti-fog for goggles
  9. Wet Suit Lubricant
  10. Vaseline / Body Glide
  11. Towel for transition area
  12. Spare water bottle / water bottle for washing off grit/sand off feet in T1

Run

  1. Race number / gel belt
  2. Hat / visor
  3. Runners
  4. Elastic ‘lock lace’ laces for runners
  5. Running socks (most triathetes don’t’ bother with socks for shorter races)
  6. Running and Bike Top / T-shirt Runners (or Tri-Suit)
  7. Talcum powder for bike and run shoes
  8. Heart Rate Monitor / Watch
